Johnny having fun doing Johnny Cash??? His audience loves Cash just as much as he does...so much so, that he just recorded "Ring of Fire" as one of only two covers for his upcoming original CD release.

Johnny's Las Vegas pick's:
Back on the East Coast Johnny's friend's in Boston consider him somewhat of an expert on Las Vegas. Very comfortable in his role as a true lounge singer, Johnny has several places he like's to recommend while in Vegas. Mostly places that only the locals know about.
FEATURED VENUE:
The Bootlegger Bistro

"Folks what can I say?...I love The Bootlegger Bistro! In fact, during a five night run at a lounge on the strip you can bet that three out of those five night's I'll be back at the Bootlegger after my show enjoying great food, generous cocktails, and a little video poker too :) This is the place you'll find everyone in the entertainment industry hanging out after hours and it's been that way for generations. I had lunch there the other day and who walks in but Kelsey Grammer (Frazier) and John Ratzenberger (Cliff) from the popular TV show Cheers! Yes we did enjoy a beer and a laugh. The food, the service, the staff, and the unique ambience of this wonderful family owned restaurant make it #1 in my top ten of where to go in Las Vegas!" - Johnny Ray
Johnny Ray is a native of Boston who made a name for himself playing in nightclubs and bars on The North Shore. After leading his band to Las Vegas he began playing in the Casino Circuit. During his life on the road he documented the people, places, and things that moved him along the way. Finally getting back to his roots as a recording artist he reveals these emotions in his new CD release, "Song's from The El Rey Motel" He currently spends his time between the east coast and the south west as a singer songwriter and touring musician and is considered one of the top entertainers of his profession.
"Johnny Ray has taken his place among the great entertainers of his
profession. Having performed hundreds of shows in Las Vegas, Johnny continues to perform for audiences from coast to coast and has become one of America's leading entertainers for high profile events and intimate venues of all kinds. Mixing humorous stories with great songs, Johnny skillfully uses his experience, charm, and powerful vocals to take command of the evening from the very first note. Johnny's cast of backing musicians represent years of working with talented people with the purpose of developing the right chemistry within the group. The fun loving nature of the group comes through in every performance and carries over into the audience immediately sparking the beginnings of a very special evening"
